The Phelps - Clifton Springs Central School District District Board of Education welcomes you to the District's web site!  We are in the process of re-vamping our site, and look forward to a new and friendlier format in the near future.

As elected representatives of the community, the seven-member Board of Education strives to ensure the best possible program for all students at the most reasonable cost. Board members are elected to three-year terms. All Board Members are volunteers who serve without pay. Board members must follow New York State law in the provision of an educational program and all other aspects of the school district.

Four candidates are running for Board of Education seats for the upcoming three years.  Thank you to those who attended the  MEET THE CANDIDATES evening on May 7 at Midlakes Intermediate school.

Mark your calendar for the annual budget vote on May 20, 2008 at the Middle School gym from Noon to 9:00 pm

Regular Board of Education meetings are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Midlakes Primary School Board room, unless otherwise noted.  Workshop meetings will be held as necessary.

2007 Meetings scheduled to date: July 11, August 8, August 22 at 6:00 pm, September 12, September 26 (NEW) **October 10**, October 24, November 14, December 12,   BOE Facilities Committee meeting - December 7, 2007 at 8:00 am in MPS main conference room

2008 Meetings scheduled to date: January 9, January 23, February 13, February 27, March 12, March 26 (at 6:45 pm), April 9, April 23, May 14, May 28**, June 11

2008-2009 Budget Hearing - May 7, 2008 at 7:00 pm i the MPS Board room 

Audit Committee Meeting - May 21, 2008 at 6:00 pm in the MPS Board room
