All About Me
I grew up in Fairport and played women's lacrosse and ran in-door track in school. I also played flute in concert band and graduated from Fairport High School in 1998. I attended Finger Lakes Community College for one year and then transferred to Nazareth College and majored in psychology with dual certification in elementary and special education. I played women's lacrosse all three years that I attended Naz and captained my senior year. After graduating from Nazareth College I decided to move south for warmer weather. I ended up migrating to Frederick, MD and taught kindergarten and pre-school special education in Columbia, MD (right outside of Baltimore). After I lived there for a year and tried to fend for myself without a Wegmans, I realized all that upstate NY had to offer, so I moved back to Fairport. I taught second grade and kindergarten at Fairport Central School District. During this time I completed my masters degree at Nazareth College in Literacy certifying in literacy birth-6th grade and literacy 5th-12th grade. Finally, my dream job came along at Midlakes, teaching literacy to students in 3-5th grade, so here I am! In my spare time, I enjoy numerous watersports especially water skiing!!!!!!! You can also find me hiking in the Adirondack Mountains or traveling around the world! I have traveled to Ireland, Alaska, and Costa Rica. I also enjoy running, spending time with friends, shopping, and relaxing on Canandaigua Lake! You can also find me spending time and playing with my dogs, Muffy and Collin! They are both Jack Russell Terriers and full of personality!
