Paddles

In our paddles unit, our students learned how to strike with long handled implements.  We focused mainly on paddles, but we also incorporated foam sticks.  Our students learned the proper way to hold the paddle (handshake grip) and the safety requirements.  We stressed to look before you swing and also to make sure you are wearing the safety strap.  Throughout this unit we worked on eye hand coordination.
