Literacy
Each day in kindergarten, your children learn and practice many literacy skills essential for academic success. Below you will find two games that you can share with your child. The first game focusing on letter and sound recognition. There are directions on how to play in the Forms and Logs section to the left under literacy. In that section, you will also find the independent reading log, the High Five I've Read 25 and the High Five We've Read 25 logs. The sight word game focuses on the 25 sight words that the children are expected to learn this year. You can also find a list of these 25 words by clicking on the sight words link to the left.
