Excuses will not be required if a student is late to school and arrives between 7:28 and 7:30 a.m.
An excuse signed by a parent or legal guardian is required if a student arrives after 7:30 a.m. Every instance will be recorded on the student’s attendance record. Disciplinary action will be taken if the student does not have an excuse.
Students entering the building after 7:30 a.m. will be issued either a PINK/CHERRY PASS (excuse) or PURPLE PASS (no excuse). The student's attendance will be recorded as tardy with an excuse or tardy without an excuse.
Disciplinary actions can be taken for unexcused reasons for being late to school. Penalties may include detention, in-school suspension, and suspension or loss of driving privileges. Students returning to school after an absence must present a written excuse signed by a parent or legal guardian to the Main Office.
