District staff, teachers and administrators, along with the Midlakes Education Center, raised approximately $500 during a charity volleyball tournament on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Midlakes High School. A team from the high school was grand champions, the primary school squad took home the “Spirit Award” and the Midlakes Education Center raised the most funds in the event, a kickoff to fundraising efforts by the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District and campus staff for the United Way of Ontario County.
