Qualifications and Activities: For more than 20 years, I’ve devoted my career to supporting individuals with disabilities—both children and adults. Clifton Springs has been my home for most of my life, aside from my time at SUNY Geneseo and during my husband’s military service at West Point. In my current role with the State of New York, I’ve developed a strong understanding of government funding, budgeting, and accountability, and I also serve on the Wayne County Community Services Board. As a lifelong resident and dedicated advocate, I care deeply about the future of our schools, our students, and the entire Midlakes community.

Personal Statement: As a proud Midlakes graduate and parent of kids currently in the district, I know how important it is to prepare our students, not just for academics, but for the real-world social and emotional challenges they’ll face too. I believe being a good Board of Education member starts with being willing to listen, learn, and stay connected to what’s happening in our schools and community. My goal is to bring an open mind, a thoughtful approach, and a strong sense of purpose to the board, so that every student feels supported, seen, and set up for success.

Whether in the classroom or on the wrestling mat, I focus on building confidence, character, and strong values in our youth. I’m running for the Board of Education because I believe every student deserves a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment to learn and thrive. My experience working directly with students, teachers, and families gives me a unique understanding of the real challenges in education today. People should vote for me because I lead by example, listen with purpose, and act with integrity. I will advocate for transparency, accountability, and programs that support both academic and emotional development. I’m not here for politics—I’m here for the kids, the teachers, and the future of our schools. Let’s build a better tomorrow by supporting those who need it most today.
