Spotting Symptoms
The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District is committed to complying with various local, state and federal guidelines that support a safe and healthy school community. These guidelines require all students and staff attending in-person instruction to complete a daily self-check prior to visiting campus. Parents/guardians should help monitor young child’s symptoms.
The following symptoms are commonly associated with COVID-19 and require individuals (students and staff) to refrain from reporting to campus for any activity. Furthermore, please call your school nurse and the Department of Health immediately with these symptoms:
- Fever or chills (100.0º F or greater);
- Cough;
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing;
- Fatigue;
- Muscle or body aches;
- Headache;
- New loss of taste or smell;
- Sore throat;
- Congestion or runny nose;
- Nausea or vomiting; and/or
- Diarrhea
