Gov. Andrew Cuomo, through executive order, has extended New York on Pause through the end of the 2019-2020 academic year. Midlakes campus is closed and all events are cancelled until further notice. Learn more.

Board of Education Meetings
Under guidance from the state on large group gatherings, meetings of the Board of Education will be streamed live to the District's website (Midlakes.org) and its Facebook page (facebook.com/midlakesschools). Meetings are typically held at 6:30 p.m. and will be closed to the public. Board members meet remotely. For more information visit the Board of Education online.
Be sure to visit Midlakes.org and Midlakes Schools on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates. The District may also send updates through a mass email system and through mass voice mails. Be sure to listen to voice messages before calling District Office on the purpose of the call.
Child Care Assistance
Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is working with The Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) to assist families in finding appropriate childcare during mandated closures due to COVID-19. Families in need of child care support may fill out an online survey.
Find a wide-range of resources available to District families has been posted online. The listing includes local food cupboards, government and mental health resources as well as a list of contacts from Midlakes Pupil Support Offices. Also includes 211/Life Line, a free and confidential resource for food, clothing, shelter, mental health and more.
The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District provides free meals to district on a Monday-Wednesday-Friday delivery schedule. Drop-off times will vary but will generally occur between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on weekdays. Food will be left on the doorstep to limit social contact. Families requesting service (or wishing to discontinue service), may fill out an online meal request form.
Many residents at risk of losing their health insurance may be eligible for coverage through NY State of Health, which opened a special enrollment period for those who are uninsured. New Yorkers that lost employer coverage must apply within 60 days of losing that coverage. To learn more about this program, visit the following links.
Home Instruction Materials
Resources in the Home Instruction Materials section provide information to families while students are home from school. These grade-specific or department-specific materials inlcude weekly schedules, contact information, recommendations for optional or additional instructional activities, and more. Learn more.
Midlakes Schools has established an email (email@example.com) to help families with issues connecting their devices to the Internet and address other issues. The email is regularly monitored. Also, information on connecting devices to various remote learning programs can be found online along with resources on a video tutorial on ho to remotely connect student iPads.
UPK, Kindergarten Registrations
The District will share details on UPK and kindergarten registration as soon as possible, but an extended school closure has impacting our ability to finalize any details. We continue to investigate alternatives for UPK and kindergarten registrations and will community those as soon as possible. In the meantime, families can go to the District website and fill out the pre-registration form for kindergarten only.
2020-2021 Transportation Requests
