Commencement 2022

    CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!!

    • MANDATORY REHEARSAL (10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Friday, June 25)

      • Park in the Middle School parking lot.  
      • Proceed to the check-in table.
      • Be on time for rehearsal so that the other students will not have to wait for you.
      • This rehearsal is MANDATORY for all students taking part in the graduation ceremony. Those not attending rehearsal will not participate in the ceremony. No exceptions! Please make arrangements with employers regarding work-related conflicts and schedules.

      GRADUATION (7 p.m., Saturday, June 26)

      • Students may park at Midlakes Elementary School. Families should enter the Ollie Cook Memorial Field at the main gate.
      • Fireworks to follow. All firework viewers must remain in their vehicles.
      • Graduation rain date is June 27. Time is TBD.

      • Photos of graduation will be posted to Midlakes.org/2021grads soon after Commencement. 
      • Families will be able to download photos for free from the site. This is the only way photos will be made available to families for download.
      • Be sure to follow @MidlakesSchools on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube to follow the graduation festivities.

      TICKETS

      • Each senior will receive 8 tickets for graduation and information pertaining to graduation.
      • Seating will be first-come, first-served. No one prior to 6 p.m. 

      DRESS FOR GRADUATION

      • Please remember that the Graduation Ceremony is a formal event, and attire should reflect such.
      • Girls: Light colors are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED since you will be wearing a light blue gown.
      • Boys are required to wear slacks, shirt and tie and preferably dress shoes. No shorts allowed.  
      • Due to safety issues, flip flops and slide sandals are prohibited!
      • Don't forget your cap, gown and tassel.

      GRADUATION NIGHT

      • Graduates should arrive at school by 6 p.m. and report to the Elementary School parking lot with your cap and gown.
      • Parents and guests must park in the Middle School or High School parking lots only.
