Spring Spectator Information

  • Below is an outline of what spectators at Midlakes can expect during the spring athletic season under current guidance from the NYS Department of Health, Section V, and the Finger Lakes High School Athletic Association. Please take note that away events may be slightly different as each school may have their policies for an athletic contest.

Midlakes will share rosters and gate lists with other schools to ease the process. These lists will include two spectators (family members) permitted by the state for a particular athlete during an away contest. A student-athlete’s parents will be listed as the default, but changes can be submitted to your child’s coach. Again, Midlakes will share this information with schools for entry to our “away” games. For home events we will be starting with 4 spectators per Midlakes athlete. Due to the number of teams for track and field we can only accommodate 2 home and 2 away spectators for track. Your child’s coach should be collecting that information either from you or the athlete.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding in maintaining social distancing and masking up during our events when six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained. We are doing our part to ensure our Midlakes Screaming Eagles can finish out the season and are looking forward to a great spring.

    Attending Midlakes Athletic Events

Per NYS Department of Health guidance, players, coaches, officials, event personnel, and fans must be on the gate list for contact tracing purposes. The Phelps-Clifton Springs CSD, along with the Finger Lakes High School Athletic Association, and Section V have developed procedures to assist with spectators for athletic contests. These procedures will be communicated through coaches and are outlined below. Some schools have put their spectator policy on the schedule page for events.  Here is the link for Midlakes events that also link to the away school’s page https://www.sectionvny.org/public/genie/783/school/5/
