National Technical Honor Society For Midlakes Students
The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES has announced that several Midlakes students have been inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
Students were eligible for induction based on grades, attendance, leadership abilities, positive attitude and nominations from Midlakes High School and from the Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center.
Midlakes students (and program area) inducted included:
Senior Sophia DelPapa, New Vision Medical; senior Erynne Garver, New Vision Health Therapy; senior Kara Jones, New Vision Medical; junior Curtis Grimes, electrical trades; junior Graham Mess, Farm to Table; junior Grace Whiffen, Animal Science; and junior Austin White, computer technology.
The National Technical Honor Society currently serves approximately 100,000 active members and nearly a million since its inception in 1984. For over 30 years, NTHS has been the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education.
