Young Musicians Named To All-County Festival

Seven school districts from Ontario County will send select fifth and sixth graders to participate in the Finger Lakes Music Educators All-County Music Festival on February 1 and 2 at Midlakes. Students will perform with either an orchestra, chorus or band for a 2 p.m. concert Feb. 2 at the Midlakes Auditorium, 1554 State Route 488. The show is open to the public with tickets available at the door. Melissa Cannan will conduct the band this year. James DesJardins will lead the chorus. Beth Glaza will conduct the orchestra.
