State Names Spring Scholar-Athletes

MAY 10, 2022 — Several sports programs and approximately 40 student-athletes have been recognized by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association for outstanding achievements in the classroom during the spring 2022 sports season.

Individual student-athletes need to earn at least a 90 GPA to be recognized. A team needs at least 75 percent of its roster to earn a GPA of at least 90 percent to be recognized.

The girls’ varsity softball team, with a grade point average of 95.59, the boys' varsity baseball team (92.14) and the girls' track and field team (91.7) were named Scholar-Athlete Teams. Individual scholar-athletes (by sport) are recognized with a certificate and include:
