Camryn Ford Receives Superintendent Award

MARCH 15, 2023 — Camryn Ford, a senior at Midlakes High School, received two prestigious awards during the second annual Wayne-Finger Lakes Superintendent Award Program Celebration and Reception.

Ford was one of just 25 students in the Wayne-Finger Lakes region to receive a Superintendent Award, given to a student with a strong academic track record, who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and consistently places others’ needs before their own.

A three-sport athlete and Midlakes valedictorian, Ford is heavily involved in a variety of leadership and extra-curricular activities at school.

She was also one of five students from the region to receive an additional scholarship on the night. Ford was awarded a scholarship sponsored by Watchdog Building Partners.

Midlakes Superintendent Nick Ganster also attended the reception along with Finger Lakes Community College President Dr. Robert Nye, who presented Ford and the other students with their awards with Sodus Superintendent Nelson Kise.
